At the Pointer Club Championship show in April 2010, Martin won his 9th CC and RBIS. He is was still not even three years of age!

At Manchester Championship show Martin won the RDCC - his 6th RCC.

Martin won his 8th CC with BOB at LKA in December. He finished 2009 as Top Male Pointer in the UK -many congratulations to all concerned!

Martin is Top Pointer Dog of 2008 & 2009

We are very proud to have bred the joint top Pointer of 2008 & Top Male Pointer 2009 as we are a small hobby kennel that produces very few litters.

At just 16 months of age, Martin has gained his 3rd CC and gained the title of Show Champion. All three of his CC's have been with BOB and he has a Group 3 placing and has been short-listed in a Group as well. He added two RCCs to his awards towards the end of 2008 as well.

We are happy to congratulate his delighted owners in producing this young dog in the peak of condition and thanks to Joanne for showing, and loving him, to perfection. He is our first homebred Show Champion so we are over the moon.

Martin is owned and shown by Sigurd Wilberg and Joanne Blackburn-Bennett of the world famous Kanix kennels.

Martin was born on 9th May 2007. His father is Int. Multi Ch. Chesterhope Let's be Serious at Kanix and his Mum is Wyndsmoor Gold Lace of Kiswahili.

He has enjoyed a remarkable show career to date and at only 14 months of age he has been awarded two CC's, both with Best of Breed, and has been placed third on one Gundog Group. He has also been awarded several Best Puppy in Breed awards.

Judge Mrs Yvonne Kent wrote the following after awarding him his 1st CC and BOB at Three Counties Championship Show in June 2008:

"... this fabulous dog has a great future ahead of him, he loved every minute of the show scene and gave his all, a true Pointer, beautiful well chiselled head with dark eyes, high set ears and deep stop with a kind expression, good flews and open nostrils, long clean neck into sloping shoulders, good bone, nice straight front, good feet and deep brisket, arched loin, strong sell muscled quarters, neat tail really used on the move, beautiful coat in superb condition, a stunning mover and never put a foot wrong, handled to perfection, CC, BOB & Grp3; sure he will feature in many more group line-ups."
