KISWAHILI CATCHER IN THE RYE ShCM

Poor Rye has been on the injured list for most of 2011, to date, with a ruptured ligament in his shoulder. He is slowly making progress and is not sound.

He has gained the final point for his ShCM!!!!!! - and we hope to start showing him again soon.

He has become father to several promising litters so far in 2011 and we hope that he will soon become a sire of puppies outside the UK as well.

Rye has continued to thrill us throughout 2010!!

He started by siring a promising litter of 8 puppies with the help of Ridanflight Rotura (Pippa).

He then continued to get highly placed in all of the Open Dog classes that he has been shown in, against super opposition.

At Blackpool Championship show Rye won the RDCC under breed specialist Gordon Pimblett (Hilldon), winning a big Open Dog class on the day.

Then, at Windsor Championship show Rye 'hit the jackpot' by winning his first CC!!

WOW - we are over the moon and thank judge, breed specialist, Neville Thorpe (Bragorse).

At Belfast Championship show Rye won the RDCC!

Rye thrilled us by winning the RCC at the City of Birmingham Championship show on 06.09.09 under breed specialist Mrs. Barbara Critchley (Whipspan).

Rye was born in April 2006. His mother is Wyndsmoor Gold Lace of Kiswahili and his father is Sh Ch Whipspan Dorrigo of Crookrise.

He has been lightly shown to date as he needed time to mature and fill out. He has enjoyed success in the show ring with BPIB at LKA 2006 and various good placings throughout 2007.

During 2008 Rye has won several classes at Championship shows along with some good placings. He has also won a few BOB's at Open level and has won one Open Show Gundog Group. He is only a young dog at 2 years of age, so this has been a pleasing year to date.

He has recently been partnered by the very talented young handler, Amelia Siddle in some JHA and YKC handling classes.
